For parents expecting a baby in and around Brighton

Hello, I’m Alice! I am French and have been living in England with my husband and four children since 2016.

I became interested in perinatal care when we were still living in France and I was expecting my fourth child. I was more specifically interested in the doula profession for which I trained with Dr Michel Odent. After this training, he advised me to move to England where the doula profession was more recognized than in France. So we decided to try our luck and chose to settle in Bristol.

I was lucky to have been able to support many families as a doula. After a year, my desire to become a midwife became obvious. In fact, in addition to accompanying the families I followed physically and emotionally, I also wanted to support them in the medical follow-up of the pregnancy.

I therefore enrolled at university and I knew from my second year of study that I would be an independent midwife. Indeed, working as a private midwife allows me to build a real relationship with the people I support based on trust, benevolence, respect and communication.

I have been working in this way since 2021. I am passionate about my work and incredibly touched by the families I meet and the relationships I build with them. I am very excited to be teaching antenatal courses and to also support parents in this way!
