The Postnatal Course

The postnatal course takes place on weekday mornings but of course with the babies!

It primarily gives you the time and space to discuss you and your postnatal recovery and the transition you’re going through – everything else is about your baby, but this is about YOU! We reflect on how you’re doing in a supportive group of other local mums with similar aged babies. Partners are welcome to some of the sessions, but there is no pressure to do so if you’re back at work!

You can find out more about the different locations below or by emailing us, but our Postnatal Course sessions tend to include:

  • A space to share and reflect on new motherhood and prioritise yourself and how you’re feeling!

  • A chance to get holistic, personalised support from a midwife in the postnatal period with feeding as well as your transition to parenting

  • A baby massage session to learn some techniques

  • A session with a specialist women’s health physiotherapist about your body after having a baby and returning to exercise

  • A session on baby/toddler sleep

  • A session on using slings and carriers and your options for carrying your baby

  • A session about how feeding adapts and changes as your baby grows, and a chance to discuss any issues you’re having!

  • Plus, a supportive WhatsApp group of local mums (who often go for lunch after the sessions!)

I would highly recommend this course to any new mums who are looking to meet other mums and feel supported/part of a community. I loved your relaxed style, you made me feel very welcome and heard!
