The Village Midwife Sling and Nappy Library
Welcome to The Village Midwife Sling & Nappy Library, where you can get support/advice about using slings & carriers as well as hire a sling or set of cloth nappies.
How does it usually work? If you want to borrow a sling or a set of cloth nappies - you can come along to one of the meets where one of our volunteers can show you some options. They will talk through how they work and can help you with your own slings or show you options that you can hire from us. Please note that the sling library is not for profit and is volunteer run so when these meets are busy you may not get much time to go through options! The meets vary with how busy they are and this is often unpredictable but we want to keep them free/donations only so that they are accessible to all. Meets are currently in:

Upcoming TVM Sling Library Meets
You can book your space at a meet via the links below as this also enables us to contact you if the meet is cancelled for any reason or there is a time change! If you want to go over lots of information about types of slings or are new to Babywearing - we recommend you attend a 2 hour workshop (which are very relaxed and baby friendly!) or have a 1:1 session

To hire, please use the buttons below where you will need to fill out a form and then be prompted to enter your card details at checkout.
We also offer stretchy wrap hire for parents with babies less than 3 months old, which you can also borrow at a meet and hire below. This is £5 but is free to anyone who needs it! For more information about how to use a stretchy wrap, click here
We are also working with Bucks Council to offer 50% off nappy hire for families who are struggling financially - just ask one of us at a meet and we can provide you with the discount code, no questions asked!
