Meet Helen

Hi, I am Helen. 

I am a community midwife based in Berkshire with 20 years' experience. I have facilitated births in the birth centre, labour ward and homes. I once, unexpectedly, delivered a baby in a gp surgery!

I now spend my time providing antenatal care and postnatal support in the community. I love building relationships with parents, offering advice, support and a friendly face. I feel this is important to encourage confidence in decisions around birth & parenthood so that people have a positive experience.

As well as a midwife I am a Mum to 3 grown up boys. I can't wait to have grandbabies one day.

I love to support and educate parents-to-be in all things birth & beyond. I am excited to be working with The Village Midwife and sharing realistic, nonjudgmental and caring information in a friendly relaxed environment.

Antenatal Course: £250

When you book your space using the link below you just have to fill out your details and pay £100 now, £50 of which is your deposit. The rest is paid a week prior to the antenatal course starting or can be paid in instalments (email us to arrange this!)

Please note: We offer a NHS discount for healthcare professionals, a return discount for previous clients and a 50% single parent discount. We also offer discounts and payment plans to parents who are struggling financially - contact us for more information, no questions asked.
